Los Alamos Plutonium Waste Fire Danger

Los Alamos National Laboratory was established during World War Two as part of the top-secret Manhattan Project to build the first atomic bomb.

Nuclear Watch New Mexico said on its website its greatest concern was for the 20,000 55-gallon sealed drums of plutonium-tainted waste stored at one corner of the complex, some stacked in the open on asphalt, some in tents, some buried underground.

Hundreds of National Guard troops have been dispatched to back up law enforcement in the area. These fires have been rooting illegals out of the crooks and crannies.

Lab officials say they are monitoring the air for radiation. Fire officials say if the blaze did manage to reach the area, they would use fire-retardant foam to douse the flames. How lucky for us.

The Calloway Nuclear Power plant in Nebraska in danger of flood waters in Nebraska is a similar disaster in the making.

The subtext of this is how nuclear materials are so easily threatened by natural disasters - anywhere, at anytime, in anyplace. And the US has tons of such waste distributed in over a hundred locales, waiting to be threatened in the same way.

Recall, the Obama Administration and Harry Reid have blocked the transport of this waste, and created these risks, by using their power to keep Yucca Mountain National Repository from use.

The Yucca Mountain facility, years in the design, study, and making, is ready to go. There are no trees, no rivers, no people, no threats at all at Yucca Mountain; it is sited in the middle of the desert, in the heart of the Nevada National Security Site (formerly the Nevada Test Range).

Old Woman Told To Remove Adult Diaper By TSA

Jean Weber of Destin filed a complaint with the Department of Homeland Security after her 95-year-old mother was detained during an intense TSA search. The elderly woman was trying to board a plane to fly to Michigan to be with family members during the final stages of her battle with leukemia.

Ms. Weber's mother, in a wheelchair, was asked to remove an adult diaper in order to complete a pat-down search. Ms. Weber said security personnel told her they would need for her mother to remove her Depends diaper because it was soiled and was impeding their search.

“It’s something I couldn’t imagine happening on American soil,” Weber said Friday. “Here is my mother, 95 years old, 105 pounds, barely able to stand, and then this.”

Sari Koshetz, a spokeswoman for the TSA in Miami, said she could not comment on specific cases. “The TSA works with passengers to resolve any security alarms in a respectful and sensitive manner,” she said.

The Gestapo were always sensitive to passenger needs too, according to Heinrich Müller.

Russian Woman Dies At Her Own Funeral

Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov, a 49 year-old woman from Kazan, Russia, collapsed in her home after suffering from chest pains. Upon examination doctors told her husband, 51 year-old Fagili, that she was dead. She had suffered a massive heart attack.

The family gathered for her funeral two days later, and, as grieving relatives filed past the open casket, the "dead" woman's eyes fluttered, and opened.

Hearing mourners praying for her soul to go to heaven, Fagilyu started screaming. "We immediately rushed her back to the hospital," says her husband, "but she only lived for another twelve minutes in intensive care before she died again, this time for good." For good? Really?

Fagili says he will sue, of course, blaming doctors for missing the diagnosis. Questions abound, for one, do they not embalm in Russia? How did Fagilyu manage to lay comatose for two entire days without food or water, or a bathroom break? And finally, she did it once, why not again, is anyone watching her? But then again, never-mind.

Class Of 2011 Faces Worst Job Crisis On Record

College students this year face the worst labor market ever encountered by a graduating class.

Hope and Change has turned into Despair and Jobless Lines.

According to the new study by the Economic Policy Institute, 2010's unemployment rate for young workers was the worst in history and is even more dire than most feared. Any job at all is out of reach for millions of young people.

The unemployment rate for high school graduates less than 25 years old increased a whopping 10.5 percentage points, to 22.5 percent, meaning that more than one in five are out of work. The overall unemployment rate for those aged 18 to 24, regardless of education, is 18.24 percent.

Blaming Bush apparently hasn't translated into jobs either. But, alas, Obama is to blame, and the youth are paying triple-whammy for their naivete.

Obama's 364 Broken Promises

The St. Petersburg Times PolitiFact has compiled more than 500 promises that Barack Obama made during the 2008 campaign.

Why has Obama failed to keep 364 of his 500 promises? Obama didn't mean it, he played politics then, and he is playing politics now. No Hope, No Change, Nada.

The supporters for Obama often misinform, misguide, demagogue, and make excuses for Obama's terrible record. Is it a surprise that most of Obama's campaign promises are languishing?

In the end, the Bush presidency did not "lie about WMD", did not "start wars", did not "lose jobs", did not "crash the economy", did not "create bad will for the US in the world".

The blame Bush card, the race card, and the card card are played out.

Gallup today has seen the largest single day slip for Obama, now at 45% approval, and 48% disapproval. Obama is running out of time, and out of presidency.

Farrakhan Love-Hate Obama Wrestling Match

Minister of Hate Louis Farrakhan seems upset with Obama over Libya.

Obama's illegal war in Libya brings strange bedfellows into conflict. Gaddafi has promised Farrakhan a $1 billion stipend (an alliance to hustle black Muslims in the USA for purposes unknown), a kind of Muslim brotherhood kiss on the lips.

Now Obama is trying to kill Gaddafi? Gadzooks...

Recall, it was Farrakhan that uttered when Obama talks "the Messiah is absolutely speaking". Today, Farrakhan says of Obama, "...that's a murderer in the White House".

Obama drops from Messiah, to Murderer, in the quick course of a few months. Alas, rough winds do shake the darling buds of May.

Obama's problems do not end there, he is also in trouble with Moveon.org moving, Netroots (left wing bloggers), George Soros, and Hillary Clinton's cadre of female supporters - in short, large elements of his base.

Obama's reelection is in doubt: recall the swing state losses in the midterms, the wrong-sided 67-slip on Israel, and the loss of ACORN. Obama and Carter already share a legacy of failure, will Obama get drubbed like Mondale at the hands of Reagan in 1984?

On a side note, the resemblance between Gaddafi and Charlie Sheen is eerie, either Gaddafi paid a visit to the US a few years back without the CIA knowing about it, or Charlie Sheen is not winning after all...

Teacher Molestation Epidemic

Police arrested high school teacher Mario Humerez from Escondido, Calif., Friday, June 17th after a student reported that he had repeatedly molested her several years ago while in class.

The 19-year-old girl reported that she began a relationship with her 35-year-old teacher, Mario Humerez, while attending Valley High School in September 2007 when she was 16 years old, and it lasted for approximately 16 months

She said he molested her once in 2008 with his hand in a classroom while other students watched a movie. The second molestation took place in early 2009 and involved oral copulation.

Police arrested Humerez as he was on his way to meet with the victim.

The coarseness of the culture seems to be leading to an epidemic of adults, male or female, in positions of power, corrupting, rather than helping the young. Is this the result of the liberal secular-humanism anything goes code of behaviour? Or is it just an odd, random spike in defective people being hired as teachers, and politicians?

US Misery Index Reaches 31 Year High

The misery index was initiated by economist Arthur Okun, an adviser to President Lyndon Johnson in the 1960's. The index is the sum of the unemployment rate added to the inflation rate.

Current unemployment at 9.1% and inflation currently at 3.1% produce a misery index of 12.16.

Since Johnson's time, the inflation and unemployment rate calculation methods have changed; Carter was the last president under the old method. And under Carter the all time record misery index of 21.9 was reached in 1980. Under the old method, the current jobless rate would be about 13%, and the inflation rate would be about 10%, which would make a misery index of about 23, exceeding the 1980 record.

The situation is grim by any measuring standard. Housing equity loss has surpassed the record set in 1934, along with record poverty, food aid, wage loss, and debt, is it surprising the misery index would also be in record territory?

Obama has chosen, whether he was aware of it or not, to repeat the mistakes of FDR, and to create all new mistakes in spending, and waste.

The degree to which Obama is failing and the speed with which Obama has failed, is astounding. Surprising also is the level of ignorance still displayed by Obama, his administration, and many of those still supporting him regarding the depth of this destruction.

No matter what happens in 2012, the USA is on a clear, uncharted path toward economic collapse.

Jobless Woman Sells Signed Obama Letter To Feed Kids

Destiny Mathis, a two-year jobless surgical technologist and mother of three living in Indiana, wrote a letter last year to President Barack Obama expressing her appreciation at a time when the White House was under fire for not doing enough to decrease unemployment numbers.

Obama responded with a handwritten note thanking her for her support. “You have such a positive spirit,” he wrote. “Please know things will get better for you and your family … You inspire me and I’m rooting for you.”

Though Mathis told Fox Chicago the handwritten letter was one of her most prized possessions, she said the hope of keeping her family together and forestalling eviction and keeping food on the table was “a lot more important.”

Hello - Ms. Mathis? Did ya notice the cause of your distress is the failure of the man you apparently are still fawning over?

Obama's misery index is at a 30 year high, along with records in Poverty, Joblessness, Debt, Housing losses, and wage depression. Will his voters notice? Or will they just suffer, sell Obama memorabilia, and say nothing...

New York - Land Of Left-Wing Oppression

New York, New Jersey and California are the least free in the U.S based on an index of public policies affecting individual freedoms according to Virginia think tank the Mercatus Center.

New Hampshire, South Dakota and Indiana are the most free states in the U.S.

New York is by far the least free state and has had ‘the most interstate emigration of any state over the last decade’, the 'Freedom in the 50 States' report said.

New York also has ‘by far the highest taxes in the country’ and ‘only Alaska has more government debt as a percentage of the economy’.

New York’s smoking and gun laws are ‘extremely’ strict, cigarette taxes are the ‘highest in the county’ and ‘motorists are highly regulated’. In short, New York is a fascist double-blue state, surprised?

California ‘aggressively interferes in the personal lives of its citizens’ and ‘needs to cut government spending’, the report said. It added that labour laws are ‘extremely strict’ and the state’s ‘liability system almost reaches the abysmal quality of the Deep South’s’.

California competes evenly with New York for the highest state income taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, and DMV fees. California has also sunk to junk rating on its bonds, as has Illinois.

Democrats have controlled California since the 70s, the first time 'Moonbeam" Jerry Brown was governor, a triple-blue state, are you shocked?

Nevada Gets 'F' In Manufacturing

The 2011 Manufacturing and Logistics National Report gave Nevada an "F" in manufacturing and a "D" in logistics, human capital and global reach. The state got a "D+" in diversification.

Nevada joined Alaska, Hawaii and New Mexico all states getting an "F" in manufacturing - no surprise given these states lack educated workers, access to ports, or in Hawaii's case, cheap land.

Nevada is losing its core Casino business. Due largely to competition from American Indians setting up shop just over the border in California. Today, the Obama administration announced it has rescinded a rule that blocked Indian tribes from building casinos far from their reservations.

Wynn and MGM are two of the largest, now placing themselves in Macao, as China and Asian markets become the "new west", at least west of Nevada.

Nevada has several major problems that will keep it from growing into a manufacturing and technology mecca; infrastructure, weather, lack of ports, lack of water, in short, nothing to attract or retain companies or labor pools. None of these involves trying to educate residence to work in non existent industries.

Nevada governor Sandoval is not from a business background, he was a lawyer, and federal judge. He believes schools are the issue, and is willing to extend and possibly raise taxes in a vain attempt to keep expensive schools greased.

Nevada is a rural, ranching state yet has a medical school in its University system. Many students come from outside of the state, graduate, then leave for the "big city" where the real money is made.

Nevada does have mining resources, and it has Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Repository. The mountain has been orphaned. A billion dollar cash cow the prior and current governor, Harry Reid and Barak Obama have all chosen to block and ignore.

Yucca Mountain would provide billions in possible revenues, and with the addition of reprocessing facilities built there, could dominate and flower a nuclear industry that will be needed regardless of those who are short sighted on the subject. Nevada could also build a Palo Verde type nuclear plant at Yucca Mountain, using grey water from Las Vegas, or bypass water needs entirely using the newest technology, Pebble Bed Reactor.

In short, Nevada is losing property values, its core economic base, and is saddled as a purple state with the legislature dominated by Democrats. Casino workers vote for the Democrats, many now forced to leave the state due to the dwindling business climate. The jobless rate in Nevada as a result is the highest in the Obama depression.

Astoundingly, the Democrats in Nevada are pushing for tax hikes, and to keep their union brethren parasiting on the dwindling tax base in the state - a disaster in the making. Sandoval caved on his "no tax" campaign pledge by allowing "temporary" taxes to be extended.

Unless Nevada wakes up, the misery it feels now will seem like the peak of prosperity.

'Black Widow' Grandma Dies Before Trial

Betty Neumar died in a hospital in Louisiana. Stanly County, N.C., Sheriff Rick Burris said.

The 79-year-old was facing three counts of solicitation to commit first-degree murder. She was accused of trying to hire someone to kill her fourth husband, Harold Gentry, in the weeks before his death in 1986.

Authorities discovered Neumar had been married five times since the 1950s. The grannie left a trail of five dead husbands in five states over several decades, and a male offspring.

The men:

Clarence Malone (1950–1952) died November 27, 1970 from natural causes? Sure...
James Flynn (? - 1955) was shot dead on a pier in New York in 1955.
Richard Sills (? -1965) died from an allegedly self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Thomas Harold Gentry (1968–1986) was found dead in the couple's home shot multiple times.
John Neumar (1991–2007) was found dead from suspected death by arsenic poisoning.
Mystery death of her first child, Gary Flynn, whose 1985 death was ruled a suicide, uh huh.

Pretty much any woman killing a series of boyfriends or husbands is called a Black Widow. Betty
dying before trial denies relatives of the dead men closure, some long suspicious.

The black widow spider is a member of the genus Latrodectus whose gruesome habit of eating the male after mating is a metaphor for the human version.

In essence, these women dispose of their mates, often soon after mating - motivation? Sometimes for money, sometimes just for sport, as was the case in Betty's murders.

Lesson? Beware of the ones that look frail, demure, needy, possibly kind, with a string of several marriages, where the husbands or boyfriends each meet mysterious, untimely ends.

Do ya know anyone like Betty? If so, don't call grandma, she may be the perp!

Rangel: 'He (Weiner) wasn't going out with little boys'...

"They were made aware of an alleged contact between Congressman Anthony Weiner and an area teen," said Officer Tracey Duffy, a New Castle County police spokeswoman. "The teen has been interviewed and disclosed no information regarding any criminal activity." Whew! Close one...

Weiner, a seven-term Democrat, has acknowledged sending sexually explicit messages over the Internet to a half-dozen women over the past three years and then lying about it in interviews he asked for on national media. See Rep. Weiner Twitters In His Boxers on this blog.

Then comes Charlie Rangel, a roaring voice of ethics and moral relativism.

Rangel suggested that other members of Congress had done things more immoral than Weiner. Rangel said Weiner "wasn't going with prostitutes. He wasn't going out with little boys." Is Charlie referring to Barney Frank, per chance? As Time Magazine reported A Skeleton in Barney's Closet in Sept of 1989. Or possibly Charlie remembers his own standard of excellence as reported by CBS News Charlie Rangel: List of Charges.

Is anyone else tired of this? As the slow march toward ousting Weiner progresses, we can pause and ask ourselves, how come both Rangel and Frank are still in congress?

96-Year-Old Woman Confesses To 1946 Murder

The 1946 killing of Felix Gulje roiled the Netherlands just after World War II.

On Wednesday, the mayor of Leiden, Netherlands, Henri Lenferink, said a woman (Atie Ridder-Visser) has confessed to the killing, saying it happened in the mistaken belief that Gulje had collaborated with the Nazis.

On the cold sleeting night of March 1, 1946, Atie Visser rang Gulje's doorbell in Leiden, and told his wife that she had a letter to give to her husband. When he came to the door she shot him in the chest.

Visser had been a member of the resistance during the 1940-1945 Nazi occupation. Rumors had been circulating that Gulje was working with the Nazis so she took action.

Ridder-Visser will not be prosecuted, he said. Although the 18-year statute of limitations was lifted for serious crimes in 2006, prosecutors ruled that the change in law would not apply in this case.

She never left town? Yikes...

John Edwards Suicidal Over Possible Prison Time

'I'd kill myself first!' John Edwards 'suicidal' over facing jail.

Now Edwards has a trial delay because he 'has a life-threatening condition' according to his judge. Surprise!

The 57-year-old former Presidential candidate reportedly told a close friend: 'I won't go to jail. I'd kill myself first!' He has lost 20lb in the last year and is a 'broken spirit,' after cheating on his wife with mistress Rielle Hunter.

The former North Carolina senator has been indicted under federal grand jury for alleged payments to take care of Miss Hunter in violation of campaign funding rules.

Edwards is not a tragic hero, like a Hamlet. He is just a run-o-the-mill Democratic Party politician, ambulance chasing trial lawyer, and cowardly chemo-wife-cheating, cad.

The wife, Elizabeth Edwards died last year.

Edwards is far too cowardly to follow thru on his empty threats and now seems to have come up with a nifty new way to delay the inevitable jail time he faces, get a doctors excuse.
