Texas To Build Police Substation On School Campus

The city of Keller and the town of Westlake near Ft Worth Texas were already collaborating on a novel approach to school safety before the Florida school failure took center stage this week.

Westlake Academy is a world-class charter school with a sprawling corporate like campus. And the town of Westlake gets police protection from the city of Keller.

Keller Police Chief Michael Wilson said the now under construction police substation in one of the Westlake Academy buildings will solve the dual problems of providing protection for both students and the town.

Sounds like a solid solution.  Oh wait, Democrats insist on gun-free zones, gun grabbing, arm-waving and posturing..nevermind.

School Shooting Triggers Teacher Gun Training

Sheriff Richard Jones in Buttler Co., Ohio is offering free concealed carry weapons training for the first 50 teachers who sign-up.

Astonishingly over 250 teachers scrambled to get in within 24 hours so the classes have to be expanded.

Jones says the instruction will train teachers how to respond to armed attackers.  But also reiterated for teachers to carry on a given campus the school board must give permission.

Arming school staff is the correct solution.  But the pleasant surprise is finding teachers who are actually interested in taking real action.

Democrats, of course are only interested in co-opting these tragedies for political gain.

Kenyon College Fomenting Racism

The "Whiteness Group" was recently founded at Kenyon College by student Juniper Cruz—a self-described “Queer Afro-Latinx Muslim.”

Cruz says her group's rules are simple.  No white person can ask a person of color questions; white people must try to answer their questions for themselves. And no spreading rumors about what people say during the meetings.

Rachel Kessler, the chaplain of Kenyon College attended a meeting observing, “As white people, we can become paralyzed by our sense of shame for our racial privilege or by our fear of accidentally saying something problematic...”

Sounds a lot like a Nuremberg Nazi rally doesn't it folks?

Passenger's Non-Stop Farting Downs International Flight

A Transavia Airline flight from Dubai to Amsterdam made a panicked call to Air Traffic Control enroute: "passengers on the rampage."

The situation led to a forced costly diversion of the aircraft to Vienna.

The 'rampage' was about an elephantine elderly man who reportedly refused to pinch-off releases of incessant, pungent farting.

The force and frequency of the flatulence so aggravated the two Dutch passengers sitting next to him that a fist fight broke out.

Once on the ground police officers boarded with dogs. All four passengers were escorted off the plane including the farter, the two men in adjoining seats and the two sisters related to the gas-passer who were sitting across the isle.

Despite feigning innocence and forced to find other flights all were banned from any future travel on the airline.  Even the flatulent brobdingnagian.

Top Ten Most Autocratic Colleges

The Foundation for Individual Rights and Educations' top ten worst suppressors of first-amendment rights in 2017 are:

Rensselaer Polytechnic (Troy, N.Y.), Drexel U (Philly, Pa), Harvard U (Cambridge, Mass.), the entire Los Angeles Community College District, Fordham U (NY, N.Y.), Evergreen State (Olympia, Wa), Albion College (Albion, Mi), Northwestern U (Evanston, Ill.), UC Berkeley (Berkeley, Ca), and Texas State U (San Marcos, Tx.)

The once lauded birthplace of the free-speech movement, UC Berkeley, ironically permits left-wing fascist, ANTIFA to destroy school property and are openly hostile toward conservative speakers.

Homework: Draw Self As A Slave

Tonya Jennings' 12-year-old attends Four Points Middle School in Austin, Tx.

Last week her daughter was given a homework assignment: Draw yourself as a slave, then color and write a visualization of what you see around you.

"There's nothing about slavery that I would want any child, regardless of color, to have to relive," says mom.

The goons at the school district defended the assignment.

To wit: The Texas Education Agency curriculum for seventh-grade history expects students to explain reasons for Texas’ involvement in the Civil War, including states' rights, slavery, sectionalism and tariffs.

You know, because 153 years later the kids in Texas need to pay for the sins of Texans back in the day.

Couple Sells All For Sailboat

Ever fantasize about selling all your crap and go live on a sailboat?  Sure...but most snap out of it after a single nights sleep.

Not Colorado couple Tanner Broadwell, his dog and Nikki Walsh.

Last year they hocked everything, including a car, to buy the 28 foot super-dinghy Lagniappe.   Nevermind neither of them had any knowledge or experience sailing.

On day two, in eight feet of water near the Florida shore, the boat hit a rock and sank.

"Everything I've worked for, everything I've owned since I was a child, I brought with me. It's just floating away and there's nothing I can do," Walsh whined.

Out of cash and out of luck, the couple said they're not giving up on the fantasy.
"The boat sank," Walsh says, "but our dreams didn't sink with the boat."

Seriously?

Cancer Cure, Finally?

Cancer is a broken cell process that results in dozens of diseases in humans.

Medicine has long known that killing healthy cells along with cancer tumor cells (chemo-therapy) is a clumsy, inefficient and painful way to go.

Immunotheraphy tries instead to 'wake up' the human immune system to go after rogue cells directly.   The effort is finally paying off.

Stanford has developed a binary vaccine that's killing 97% of metastasized tumors in mice. The results are so conclusive that the University has already started trials on human lymphoma patients.

#MeToo Backlash Brewing

#MeToo was born out of liberal Hollywood's Harvey Weinstein carnage.

Claire Berlinski calls the #MeToo movement “a frenzied extrajudicial warlock hunt that does not pause to parse the difference between rape and stupidity” and “a classic moral panic, one that is ultimately as dangerous to women as to men.”

So now burgeons the blistering backlash.

Female staffers and lobbyists have found “many male legislators will no longer meet with them privately,” says lobbyist Jennifer Green.  “I’m getting the feeling that we’re going back 20 years as female professionals,” warns Green.

Silicon Valley has put the brakes on mixed gender travel and closed-door meetings between males and females.  So who suffers when segregation shuts the ladies out?  Take a guess....

Cell Phone Cancer, Again

You've heard it before now you're hearing it again.

Exposure to radiofrequency radiation emitted from your cell phone causes cancer.

“The levels and duration of exposure to RFR [in rats] were much greater than what people experience...so these findings should not be directly extrapolated to human cell phone usage,” said NTP (US National Institutes of Health) senior scientist Dr. John Bucher.

Ah, so it's okay...only rat cancer, not people.  Remember tobacco?  Same, same...
