Likely the most stark double-standard yet seen by Obama is his green light for the wholesale slaughter of Golden and Bald Eagles by wind farms.In a cold twist of legalese the Obama's staffies have crafted a new 'rule' which gives wind farms free license to kill as many eagles as they want over the next 30-years.
To wit: “non purposeful take of eagles-that is where the take is associated with but not the purpose of, the activity.’’
This pits greenies against each other; those pushing inviable wind energy and those trying to protect wildlife. Obama has unsurprisingly voted against the grand symbol of the republic - the American Bald Eagle.
While the greenies get greasy in a food fight pursuing faux-global-warming the rest of us are stuck with the demise of the eagles. As Obama would say, collateral damage, baby.
