Postal Worker Wife Poisons Husband's Tuna

Postal workers are pretty pathetic.   So much so that the the phrase 'going postal' is accepted and recognized American English slang defined as becoming extremely and uncontrollably angry, often to the point of violence.

Postal employee Beth Dickison Richards, 37, of Lake Wales, FL was arrested on charges of attempted first-degree murder, poisoning food with the intent to kill, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Beth told step sister Jessica Jarvis she was trying to kill husband Gregory Richards by crushing up multiple Trazodone pills and placing them in his tuna fish sandwich.

Jarvis hurredly contacted Greg's family to warn him. And called the cops.

Greg told told the cops he had eaten part of the sandwich earlier in the day and felt nauseous. Beth confessed. The would-be tuna killer is off the streets.

Beth probably didn't know anti-depression pills are not fatal. The mercury in Greg's tuna sandwhich is far more dangerous.  Greg will need to get his own perscription of Trazodone now that he knows his wife wants him dead.
