The brains of liberals and conservatives are different due to DNA. Cognitive neuroscientist Ryota Kanai of the University College London found liberals tended to have larger anterior cingulate cortex, a region of the brain linked to ambiguity.
Conservatives have a larger amygdala, an area linked with disdain for lying and malicious disinformation.
The idea that liberals are doomed to develop the earmark deficiencies of hypocrisy, selfishness (narcissism), irrational/impulsive thinking, and conspiracy theory are a grim prognosis at best.
But it does explain how nature can produce anomolies like Chris Matthews, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and John Edwards.
