Quincy Green was arrested in April on a weapon's charge and given home confinement.
Green was fitted with an ankle monitor by a leg a technician but the goof placed the device over a sock and on Green's prosthetic leg.
Once home Green simply swapped the monitored leg with a backup leg and pretty much did whatever he wanted.
On the night of May 19, after a night of heavy drinking at a nearby dive Green shot and killed Dana Hamilton. The cops spotted Green on the surveillance video and pieced together the rest of the sordid story since the monitoring system showed Green never left the house - even during the murder!
