Joshua Welch, 7, was suspended from Anne Arundel Elementary in
March 2013 after chewing a chunk of pastry into the shape of a gun and
“[pretending] to fire it.”
Joshua's dad, B.J. Welch, asked a court to reverse the suspension and get his son's record expunged. Astoundingly the circuit court judge upheld the suspension ruling Joshua’s actions were “disruptive.”
Now the kid has to go through his formative years with an idiotic, knee-jerk mar on his record.
Justice see the school administrators fired and Joshua handed another biscuit to replace the one they took from him.
