Once, Twice, Three Times A Horse

Read this story without hor coffee in your hand or risk a bad burn on your boombooms.

With Three Times A Lady by Lionel Ritchie playing low in the background consider the plight of a stubborn Texas cowhand who has this 'thing' for horses - not just any horse, the SAME horse.

The place Hildalgo County, Texas. The guy 43-year-old Cirilo Castillo.   The deed.  Cirilo just got out of the hoosegow last April for riding a horse bareback from the rear, if ya know wudda mean.

So what does the newly freed Cirilo do when he gets out? He jumps a bus and high-tails it back to the ranch in Hildalgo County and re-mounts the same horse again, and gets arrested again.

Sheriff Lupe Trevino opined, "The guy is practically harmless, except for the horse."

The hapless horse's owner doesn't share Sheriff Trevino's sense of humor. After the first episode the ranch owner put in surveillance cameras and caught Castillo the second time. Castillo's new charges include cruelty to animals, criminal trespass, and a spanking new $35,000 bond.

Do they even have a rehab for this kind of thing?
