Cherokee Tribe: Blacks Need Not Apply

Obama administration's BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs) wants the Cherokee Nation to make 2,800 descendants of slaves fully emancipated Cherokees.

BIA's Larry Echo Hawk demanded acting tribal chief Joe Crittenden let blacks known as "Cherokee Freedmen," be allowed to vote.

"The Cherokee Nation will not be governed by the BIA," Crittenden said in defiance.

The history of Cherokee owned black slaves goes back to the 1830s. The tribe was forced to relocate to present-day Oklahoma during the Andrew Jackson (D) administration; Cherokee plantation owners took their slaves with them. The so-called Freedmen are descendants of those slaves.

Obama is pressing a range of 'reparations' on behalf of blacks.  All costing taxpayers billions of course.
