Failing Schools: Obama Lowers Standards

Education Secretary Arne Duncan issued a waiver system to give failing public schools a pass.

The No Child Left Behind law is just too tough.

The waivers are a direct order from Obama, Duncan said.

No Child Left Behind requires every student proficient in math and reading by 2014. Failing public schools have been unable to meet the scaled requirements, and have been lobbying Obama to get out.

Duncan warned 82% of U.S. schools are in danger of failing under NCLB. Twenty states have been granted waivers. The first ten are Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Tennessee and New Mexico.

Students, of course, won't be able to compete with Chinese and Indian kids.  Sow today and reap failure tomorrow. Obama will get $100k per lecture after he is out so his family will be fine, thanks for asking.
