Ronald Wilson Reagan Turns 100

Three of four US citizens call him a historically outstanding president.

Even Barry Obama is a fan: "No matter what political disagreements you may have had with President Reagan - and I certainly had my share - there is no denying his leadership in the world," Obama said.

The 40th president, Reagan faced the shambles created by Jimmy Carter; double digit inflation, joblessness, interest rates, and a national spirit damaged by 444 days of the Iran hostage crises.

Upon leaving office, Reagan had defeated the USSR, and created a record post World War II prosperity that included 21 million jobs.

Today, Reagan's legacy continues to grow...in the end, he will be seen as the 20th centuries greatest president.
