January Jobless Rate 9.0% +36,000 Jobs...

Sounds like good news huh? Not quite. In an earlier blog, Gallup was noted as reporting, in the same period, a completely different set of numbers.

GALLUP:
    Worse? The US Labor Dept. rate does not reflect why the rate appears to be dropping. On first blush, it may be assumed to be due to people going back to work, sadly, its the opposite - the number of people who left the workforce in this time-frame is 500,000 (7.4 million jobs now lost since Obama sworn in).

    In short? With just 38,000 jobs added, far short of the 202,000 per month needed to grow the job market, its still painfully apparent Obama is not the man for the job.
