The recall election Tuesday ousted two Democrat state senators, John Morse and Angela Giron, and replaced them with Republicans. Morse was the Colorado senate president - ya gotta love it.
Democrats don't care what the voters want or think. And Colorado voters took the effort to bitch-slap them a little in return.
John Morse's arrogance led to his downfall and now he's bitter. Mr. Morse called the loss of his seat “purely symbolic” and defended his excess in office and miserable attempt to destroy the constitution as “phenomenal.”
“We made Colorado safer from gun violence, if it cost me my political career, that’s a small price to pay.” Gonna cry now John?
The liberals didn't go down without blowing a LOT of cash. Soros backed groups, unions and anti-gun goons raised a total of $3 million to defend Morse and Giron. Even grannie Bloomberg personally gave $350,000. But the people decide, not the libbie's money.
May this recall be the first shot across the bow in what now is a struggle to stop those who would destroy our constitutional right to keep and bear arms.
