EPA Closes Energy Plants Spikes Energy Bills

Obama did make a campaign pledge to spike energy costs - sadly this is one of the few pledges he is keeping.

More than 32 coal-fired power plants in a dozen states have been forced to shut down and an additional 36 are due to close thanks to 'new' federal air pollution regulations. The immediate impact will be felt by 25 million customers in the coming winter.

The EPA doesn't care about the lack of hard science to justify the action. The EPA takes no prisoners because it's run by radicals.

The industry has been replacing older plants at a pace it can afford.  But Obama's economy has clipped their revenues too.

Still, taking these plants offline, without replacing them, will spike utility bills nationwide. Just the thing needed in the middle of Obama's tireless effort to obliterate the middle-class.
