$1 Million Worth Of Shiraz Wine Down Drain

More than $1 million worth of shiraz wine was dropped by a malfunctioning forklift in Adelaide, Australia.

The 462 cases of 2010 Mollydooker Velvet Glove shiraz - at $185 a bottle - fell more than 20 feet to the ground as it was being loaded for export to anxious customers in the US.

"We just couldn't believe it," Mr Marquis said. "This wine is our pride and joy, so to see it accidentally destroyed, and not consumed, has left us all a bit numb." Over one-third of Marquis' annual production - he is huddling with insurance to save his company today.
