China’s holdings of US bonds reached $1.16 trillion at the end of December, almost $275 billion more than previously estimated.Beijing, which has converted much of a huge trade surplus with the United States since Obama took office, held 26.1 percent of the total of $4.44 trillion held by foreigners.
Obama has been especially lame when it comes to China. It is clear China sees Obama as a clown, often dismissing his commentary, and announcing new military and economic threats to the US at will.
