Breast Cancer Mastectomy Tattoo Bra

Breast cancer victims face a Hobson's choice.  Once a woman's breasts attack her staying alive becomes priority one.

But what price survival? Most visible and shattering is loss of one or both breasts.

Men can't fully appreciate the tradeoff. The lady not only has to wonder if the cancer will return,  less important, she may face fear her 'mate' will not accept her new reality and lost breasts.

Sadly, many males are petty and shallow.  No matter how long the relationship prior to the diagnosis, these weak males are sink quickly and are unable to handle the disfigurement.  These weasels bolt at a time companionship and compassion are least he could offer in a time of crises.

Breast cancer also shatters self-confidence. And as an added insult the lady must withstand the carving away of muscle in the chest wall.  Breast augmentation falls short of fully restoring either self-confidence or the body. So whats a gal to do?

Some women have gotten creative.  The lady above decided to ink-over the mastectomy carnage.  In tattooing a band-like-bra of swirling images the beast is put into a cage.  The disease tried to leave a barren wasteland where her breasts once hung but the ink and design have neatly blunted the absence of the tissue.

Tattoos are tantamount to treating a body like a sound wall on a highway.  But in this case, the tattoo becomes a crafty way to fill an ugly void and add back a little zest for life where death once tried to take residence.
