The Rev. Al Sharpton is broke and in arrears.
Sharpton's non-profit paid him a salary of $242,000 while sinking over $1.6 million in red ink. Al's National Action Network and two for-profit companies, taken together, bleed $5.3 million in the red ink. Like Al like Obama - the red ink kings.
Sharpton owes the IRS $2.6 million in income tax, and $900,000 in state tax. The defunct Rev-Al Communications Inc. owes the state $176,000 in back taxes. Al's operation also owes $883,503 federal payroll taxes, minus penalties and interest, ooops.
Between Obama/ACORN, Sharpton, Rangel, Waters, Burris, Jesse Jackson, and his vile offspring, Jesse Jr. the line is long and the corruption deep.
But to be fair, the Blago, Pelosi, Daschle, Reid, Kerry, Edwards, Geithner, Clinton trail is just as wide and even more outrageous. What do they all have in common? Democrats.
