Happiness Therapists Commit Double Suicide

Can there be a more ironic irony than a pair who made their living advising others how to be happy who commit suicide and lay rotting for a week before their landlord kicks in their door from the smell?

Psychotherapist Lynne Rosen, 46, and her 'partner' 48-year-old John Littig were found dead at their home in Brooklyn, NY.

The two hosted a monthly radio show called 'The Pursuit of Happiness' broadcast on WBAI-FM.

Ms Rosen's resume lists her as a life coach and consultant. She had hosted the radio show for six years giving out sage advise to listeners on how to solve problems and achieve a modicum of happiness in a world seemingly too cruel to tolerate.

Mr Littig.'s business card listed him as a life coach and motivational speaker. He was also a musician, performing under the name Jadex. Littig's website carries a quotation from author Norman Vincent Peale: 'It's always too early to quit.'

So it seems either the pair weren't listening to their own show, or maybe they got tired of being happy.  Moral? Beware those doling out dog food they won't eat themselves.
