A study of Latvian women found links between a pretty face and the amount of cortisol in the body.

Nerdy researchers first located some pretty women and then photographed and vaccinated them against hepatitis B subsequently measuring the amount of antibodies their bodies produced.
Surprisingly, immune function in women didn't predict pretty faces. Women with lower cortisol levels tended to be more beautiful, suggesting stressed women are prone to be butt-ugly and usually fat. Conversely, the same team found men who were produced antibodies in response to a hepatitis B shots were considered better looking by women.
So pretty women are more fertile and less stressed lowering cortisol which leads to less fat making. Men in that boat get to eat the whole enchilada: higher fertility, handsome faces, less fat and a better immune system.
So once again, the good looking get all the brakes, and the homely are left with cats, cake cravings, and size 20 stretch pants.
