Donnell Graham, 17 was convicted of first and second degree murder of blind man Patrick Xavier Ward.
Graham was burglarizing Ward's apartment when Ward stumbled into Graham. Rather than run, the teen stabbed Ward multiple times - killing him.
Patrick Ward was struggling to overcome health issues and get his degree at a local community college. Graham on the other hand is an illiterate thief who hasn't completed ninth grade, a public defender said. Is that supposed to be an excuse?
